SHIPPING QUESTIONS

DO YOU SHIP YOUR PUPPIES?

YES, most of our puppies are air shipped to their new puppy parents.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR AIR SHIPPING?

Generally, we charge $295 for our Boxer puppies.  These are some of the lowest shipping charges on the Internet and only cover our cost to ship the puppy.  The above shipping price quotes are for Continental and Midwest Airlines, and only apply to major Airports.  Any other airlines, or minor airports will require us to get an exact quote from the airlines.

IS THERE EVER UNEXPECTED COSTS FOR SHIPPING A PUPPY?

Yes, sometimes, but very rarely in unexpected circumstances there are costs that we were unaware of at the time the buyer is originally charged his/her shipping fee.  Such as but not limited to:  day kenneling w/ a Certified / Licensed Boarding Kennel on a layover flight longer than 4 hours, extra airfare charges for a puppy that might fall into a higher weight class than originally thought etc,.  The buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses related to the cost of shipping his/her puppy to them.  Payment of these charges is required before any puppy is shipped from our home!

IS AIR SHIPPING A PUPPY SAFE?

Air shipping is totally safe for the puppy, and we have never experienced any problems with the Airlines.  The puppies fly in pressurized cabins that are heated in the winter, and cooled in the summer.  However, should your puppy need to be Air shipped we are not responsible nor liable for anything that might happen in transit.  See the next question...

DO YOU INSURE YOUR PUPPIES WHEN THEY ARE SHIPPED?

YES, We purchase flight insurance on your behalf, to ensure that your puppy will be financially protected in transit.  In the unlikely event that something would happen.  As I said we have never had any problems shipping our puppies.

WOULD YOU EVER SHIP A SICK PUPPY?

NEVER, the airlines require us to have all our puppies that are scheduled to fly inspected and certified healthy to fly by a licensed Veterinarian.  Every puppy is required to have a clean Veterinarian Certificate of Health in order to fly.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE COST OF SHIPPING?

The cost of shipping the puppy to you, the cost of flight insurance, a brand new puppy kennel that is yours to keep, a food/water dish, and the cost of the Veterinary Certificate of Health which is required by the airlines to ship any live animal.

CAN WE PICK UP OUR PUPPY LOCALLY FROM YOU?

ABSOLUTELY!  We always enjoy meeting new puppy parents, and everyone is welcome to pick up their puppies whether they live here locally, are in the area, or are willing to make the trip.  Regardless, the trip will definitely be worth it!!!

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PUPPIES PAPERWORK?

Should we need to Air ship your puppy to you; The Registration Papers, Veterinary Certificate of Health, Shot & Medical Record, Vaccination Schedule, Sales Receipt, and The Sales Agreement will accompany the puppy on the Airlines in the packing slip.  We verify that the paperwork is taped to the pet taxi.  So please do not leave the airport without verifying that you have your paperwork.

Should you decide to pick your puppy up locally from us,  you will receive all the necessary required paper work at the time of pick up.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU SHIP YOUR PUPPIES?

We live over two hours from the airport, so to cut down on costs, we make two scheduled airport delivery trips per month.  Your puppy will be delivered to the airport for shipping during one of these scheduled trips.  This trip is included and covered financially in the amount that your were charged for shipping.

DO YOU MAKE ANY SPECIAL AIRPORT TRIPS?

YES, special airport trips can be arranged for a fee of $125. Special airport trips can be made in the event that you would like your puppy shipped sooner than a scheduled airport run, or if you need, or would like your puppy shipped on any other day than the two scheduled airport trips.  This is of course providing that your puppy has been cleared by our vet and is ready to be shipped.  This fee covers costs only i.e., fuel, automotive wear, and a 5 hour drive round trip, and is due to the fact that we live over two hours away from the Kansas City Airport.
